Adding Departments

To add a department to your guild you can run the command /add_department, more information for this command and its use case can be found inside the following page.

Editing Departments

You can easily edit a departments primary information using the command /edit_department inputting the and selecting the field you wish to edit. Its very simple to manage your mistakes or even make changes to the department without deleting and readding it all over again.

Deleting Departments

Just as easy as adding a department you can remove it, with the quick use of the /delete_department command you'll delete the department and all of its base data. Please keep in mind that all of the department assignments will remain including entries in the callsign sheet, to delete those you must proceed manually.

Viewing Departments

You can view all departments, or a specific departments information using the command /view_department, if you enter no ID then you'll see a list of all departments, but if you enter a valid department ID then the departments information including ranks and rows will be disabled. Keep in mind that you can edit the department with /edit_department or view the Editing Department header.

Adding Ranks

Ranks are essential for any department to operate correctly and these can be easily added to your department using the command /add_rank and filling in the provided information boxes. The rank will then be automatically assigned the next position, allowing you to use in in promotions, demoting and assignments.

Editing Ranks

To edit a rank and its information you can run the command /edit_rank, its the same priciple as editing a department. You'll choose the field you wish to edit and then enter the new value. This can be super helpful when making quick changes to the rank without having to delete and add it back every time.

Removing Ranks

To delete a rank and remove it from the department you can use the command /remove_rank, like all the previous commands that delete data it will only remove its specific data and will not delete assignments that include it. This could mess up a assignment if you remove a rank with users currently assigned to it, its recommended to either promote or demote the users on a rank before deleting it.
